In an article entitled "Wonderful Weekend for C20 Fleet," Bill Wagner of the Capital writes about the 2009 Worlds and Opening of the C-20 Exhibit at the Annapolis Maritime Museum. He notes that Robin Hartge won the Worlds with consistency - three seconds, and that Clay Taylor in Endeavor won the race back to West River on Sunday despite damage to the hull, a broken whisker pole and main sheet block.

Attached are two photos: a group photo of competitors at the Chesapeake 20 Worlds held on June 20th at the Annapolis Maritime Museum which will be displayed next to a photo of pioneers at our C-20 exhibit; and a photo of the winning C-20, Endeavor (Clay Taylor, Ari and Jamila Schragger) on Sunday, June 21th on the return race to Annapolis. We held the Worlds on Saturday, but decided to hold a return race to West River on Sunday given the high wind predictions (30 kts). As a result, we had the fastest ever sail back to West River in less than an hour and a half, planing most of the time. Spirit lost her mast at Tolley Pt., and Endeavor already damaged from a collusion on Saturday, broke her whisker pole(seen in the photo) and main sheet block, but went on to win the race.
